Born as Esteban Antonio Loaiza Veyna in Tijuana, Mexico, on December 31, 1971 to Mara del Socorro Veyna and Luis Antonio Loaiza, Esteban’s age will be 50 years old on December 31, 2021.

Professional Career
Estaban started his professional career through The Pittsburgh Pirates on March 21, 1991. In the same year, he started five games for the Gulf Coast Pirates, posting a 2.26 ERA promoting to August (Class A) in 1992, Salem (Class-A) in 1993, and Carolina (Class-AA) in 1993-1994. Esteban then made his Major League debut with the Pirates on April 29, 1995. However, in 1996, he returned to the minor leagues with the Triple-A Calgary Cannons.
He spent the following two seasons with the Texas Rangers, playing as a starter and reliever. Esteban joined the Toronto Blue Jays in the year 2000. Moreover, he was a team member for two years, from 2001 to 2002. In 2003, Loaiza signed a deal with the Chicago White Sox. Esteban was named to the 2004 American League All-Star Game as a member of the White Sox. Likewise, he was traded to the New York Yankees after his performance in the All-Star game.
He also agreed to a one-year contract as a free agent with the Washington Nationals. The Oakland Athletics signed Esteban to a three-year contract. However, his performance and statistics deteriorated here because of injury and back and shoulder troubles.
The 2007 regular season was a disaster where Loaiza had to spend a significant amount of time on the injured list due to his injuries. On August 22, 2007, he was reassigned to the 25-man roster. The Los Angeles Dodgers purchased the remainder of Esteban Loaiza’s Oakland Athletics contract. Loaiza was later released from the agreement on May 24 and was accepted by the Chicago White Sox on June 4, 2008. However, Esteban Loaiza was placed on the disabled due to persistent ailments and physical pain. After six weeks on the injured list, he was finally released from his contract.
